The awesome lineup of URBANSTAR judges is confirmed: Veronica Monro (Australian Idol Series 1), Joe Fidow (lead singer/founder of R&B group KULCHA), Nick Adelino (The NuFirm, Israel's hitmakin' production company) , Niten De Valia (Xcentric Productions / Bliss N Eso producer) and Amber McCormick (3DWORLD, the # 1 streetpress magazine in NSW). Special guest Chauncey Black (BLACKSTREET) will also be making a special appearance. Newsflash: LEE MONRO (aka Figg Kidd), will be joining the judging panel for URBANSTAR Finals on October 9. |

ADELAIDE LIGHTS UP THE GROOVE STAGE |

August 31 Adelaide City was buzzing last Saturday. The word was out: the Maestro, Melbourne-based host Oliver Santeco aka MC OLIBEAR was coming down to the City of Churches to host GROOVE. Sure enough, the lyrically-gifted singer/comedian made his way to Adelaide along with a Melbourne production crew that was eager to see what Adelaide had to offer now. They had no idea what was in store for them. "It was sold out. We had to turn away hundreds of people. There was simply no room for the dancers in the audience so we actually had to keep them backstage with me and we watched thru the live feed. The crews stepped up this year, it's really amazing to see the improvement", said the excited MC. |
